ABOUT US
This organization is made up of active and retired members
of the United States five uniformed services.  We are a
chapter of a national travel organization with headquarters
in Florida.

This chapter was the first chartered chapter of S*M*A*R*T,
formulated 1 December 1987, as California South Coast
Chapter, by twenty members.  In January 1991, the officers
applied for and received approval to change the name to
The Southern California Chapter.

Our chapter membership extends from the Mexican Border
throughout California and across the United States.

The Chapter hosts quarterly musters from three to five days
within the Southern California area, offering a variety of
activities such as pot lucks, catered meals, games crafts,
fishing, golf, tours of local areas and sharing RV
experiences.

As a social organization, member goals are camaraderie,
participating in Regional & National musters of S*M*A*R*T,
supporting our local Military and Verterans Hospitals, and
community.

National Membership is required prior to joining a Chapter,
therefore, we encourage you to check the eligibility
requirements for membership on the National Web Site:
www.smartrving.net

Membership fee for the Southern California Chapter was set
in 1987 at $10.00 per year and remains at that amount.
